We&#39;re looking for a Workshop Technician to play a vital role in maintaining, repairing and continuously improving our fleet of ROV systems, manipulators and associated tooling equipment.</p>

<p><strong>What you&#39;ll be doing</strong></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
	<li>Maintaining workshop facilities to support the mobilisation, demobilisation, refurbishment and repair of ROV systems and tooling.</li>
	<li>Carrying out planned and corrective maintenance on ROV equipment to ensure operational readiness.</li>
	<li>Performing pre- and post-deployment inspections, testing and quality control audits.</li>
	<li>Diagnosing technical faults and implementing effective repair solutions.</li>
	<li>Managing maintenance schedules and ensuring equipment repairs are completed efficiently.</li>
	<li>Maintaining accurate technical records, reports and asset information within company systems.</li>
	<li>Monitoring inventory and ensuring adequate stock levels of critical equipment and components.</li>
	<li>Working closely with Project, Technical, Asset and Logistics teams to support project mobilisation requirements.</li>
	<li>Supervising ROV Pilot Trainees, offshore personnel and third-party contractors when required.</li>
	<li>Operating workshop equipment, including forklift trucks and gantry cranes.</li>
	<li>Assisting with workshop logistics, deliveries and general team support activities.</li>

<p><strong>What we&#39;re looking for</strong></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
	<li>Time-served and industrially trained in Electrical, Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering.</li>
	<li>Nationally recognised engineering qualification.</li>
	<li>Practical experience working with ROV systems, ideally including Schilling manipulators.</li>
	<li>Previous experience in an ROV workshop, maintenance or offshore support environment is highly desirable.</li>
	<li>Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with a logical approach to problem-solving.</li>
	<li>Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.</li>
	<li>A proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.</li>

<p><strong>Role Summary</strong></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>The primary function of the Buyer is to control the procurement process for ROVOP&rsquo;s global ROV fleet, supporting both onshore and offshore operations. Duties include the procurement of system equipment, spares, consumables and external project hired tooling. Other duties include expediting, supplier management &amp; dealing with delivery and invoice discrepancies.</p>

<p>Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p>

<ul>
	<li>Manage the end-to-end procurement process by issuing RFQs for required equipment, spares and consumables, reviewing and analysing supplier quotations and placing purchase orders with approved suppliers</li>
	<li>Ensure goods are procured at the most competitive rates and within allocated budget</li>
	<li>Expedite purchase orders to ensure delivery dates are met</li>
	<li>Identify and onboard new suppliers, ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards and company procurement policies</li>
	<li>Monitor procurement efficiencies (cost, lead time, quality, performance etc.) and analyse category spend data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings and recommend strategic changes to improve procurement efficiency and value</li>
	<li>Ensure relevant departments are informed about changes in equipment specifications, major cost movements, delivery lead times, overdue items and individual supply situations</li>
	<li>Pro-actively engage with suppliers and sales representatives to gather information on new products, resolve pricing and delivery issues, address vendor invoice queries, and promote and maintain strong supplier relationships to support procurement objectives</li>
	<li>Maintain purchasing data on IMS, review and update supplier performance&#61603; Support D365 implementation project from SCM perspective</li>
	<li>Provide cover/support where necessary for other members of the Procurement Team</li>

<p><strong>About You</strong></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>You should have several years of procurement experience, ideally in the ROV industry, along with a thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management &amp; associated processes. You should be able to demonstrate experience of ERP systems to support business operations, process improvement, reporting, and data management. You must be PC literate with proven experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.</p>
