We are looking for a full-time Onshore MS-HSEQ Coordinator to join our busy HSEQ team, based in our Aberdeen Office.
The purpose of the MS-HSEQ Coordinator is to support the development, implementation, and continual improvement of the organisation's integrated management system, ensuring alignment with international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
This role is responsible for maintaining document control, coordinating internal audits, tracking corrective actions, maintaining HSEQ Statistics and supporting compliance with regulatory and corporate HSEQ requirements. By facilitating effective system processes and promoting a culture of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility, the coordinator plays a key role in enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, and driving consistent performance across the organisation.
Main responsibilities are to:
Support the HSEQ Director in the continual improvement of an effective Integrated Management
System complying with the requirements of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and additional client specifications
Support HSEQ Director in the management of the IMS including updating of the MDR, providing support for documentation updates to dept and be ROVOP focal point for the IMS.
Support the HSEQ Director in ensuring compliance with the company's HSEQ Management System
Work with company personnel to understand their specific requirements to ensure the systems & tools put in place meet their needs.
Management, updates and continual improvement of documentation within the IMS for all departments
Train others in all aspects of the Management system and application of procedures
Ensuring compliance with the Management System Audit and monitor activities to ensure they are carried out in accordance with the IMS Processes and Procedures
Support and promote a proactive HSEQ Culture throughout the organisation
Carry out HSEQ spot check audits in accordance with approved schedules and plans, following up any necessary corrective or preventative actions within the Improvement Register
Completion of client questionnaires as part of the tender process
Support the HSEQ Director in the development and implementation of safety training programs, safety initiatives and safety campaigns
Assist in the development of project specific documentation (e.g. procedures, plans and work instructions etc.) including a review to ensure implementation of HSEQ requirements
Schedule and coordinate safety meetings and minutes, monthly site inspections / tours
Maintenance of safety records including induction training, HSE training, inspections, audits, and accident investigation/reporting
Support Project Managers with incident reporting and ensure follow-up on actions through to closeout. Support HSEQ Director in the preparation, review and update of Risk Assessments
Maintenance of COSHH Documentation in conjunction with Supply Chain Team
Maintenance of facility related documentation and records with an impact on HSEQ
Carry out the coordination, education, and management of personnel with specific HSEQ responsibilities, such as fire wardens, first aiders, spill teams etc.
Coordinate our waste management program
Prepare data/trends and other HSEQ statistical records/reports as required
Potential for travel offshore and overseas work sites as required
Carry out any other ad-hoc HSEQ or office related tasks where necessary.
About You
It would be ideal if you had previous experience in an MS-HSEQ Coordinator role with a relevant HSEQ qualification or working towards. Preferably you may have some knowledge of ROV systems and a background in the service industry.
Personal attributes
The candidate should be personable and able to engage individuals support and co-operation at all levels. With good communication, organisational skills and presentation skills. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in Management & HSEQ Systems along with an understanding of the ISO specifications. Also an individual with excellent confidential skills, high attention to detail, with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
This person must be flexible and highly organised while motivating others to achieve the best within the team and organisation.
