The HSEQ Advisor will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise to ensure the company achieves operational excellence throughout all aspects of the business by conducting its operational activities safely, reliably, and efficiently with minimal impact on the environment.

Key duties and responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the continual improvement of an effective Integrated Management System complying with the requirements of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001and additional client specifications
  • Support the design and implementation of comprehensive health and safety programs including training, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure all ROVOP activities comply with local, national, and industry-specific health and safety regulations and standards
  • Support investigation of accidents and incidents to determine causes and implement measures to prevent future occurrences
  • Work closely with project managers, ROVOP personnel, and external health and safety bodies to maintain a safe working environment
  • Support and educate a proactive HSEQ Culture within the business which includes providing HSEQ guidance, support and training to all ROVOP personnel ensuring all personnel are aware of safety practices and procedures
  • Assist project manager’s in the development of project specific documentation (e.g., procedures, plans and work instructions etc.) including a review to ensure implementation of HSEQ requirements
  • Support in the preparation of data/trends and other HSEQ statistical records/reports as required
  • Provide cover for Senior HSEQ Advisor
  • Potential for travel offshore and overseas work sites as required
  • Carry out any other ad-hoc HSEQ or office related tasks when requested.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a HSEQ Coordinator role
  • Knowledge of ROV systems is desirable
  • A relevant HSEQ qualification or working towards (Associate or Certified)
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
